BRICS Youth Educational Expedition: A Landmark Gathering in Tehran
📍 Tehran, Iran | June 12–15, 2025
We are proud to share that Building Hope was one of the organizing partners of the Second BRICS Youth Educational Expedition (BEE), held from June 12–15, 2025, in Tehran, Iran. The event brought together 80 talented young leaders from BRICS and neighboring countries, fostering deep dialogue and collaboration in the realms of cultural, economic, and scientific diplomacy.
Following the inaugural summit in India (October 2024), this second edition was hosted with the support of the Iranian Ministry of Youth and Sports, marking another major step toward strengthening multilateral ties among BRICS nations through youth engagement.
🐝 What Is BEE?
BEE – BRICS Educational Expedition – is a youth-led initiative to enhance dialogue, cooperation, and shared innovation among the young minds of BRICS countries. The 2025 edition in Tehran revolved around three key diplomatic areas:
-
Cultural Diplomacy: Exploring shared values and cultural exchange strategies

-
Economic Diplomacy: Discussing funding models and cross-border youth-led projects

-
Scientific Diplomacy: Promoting academic collaboration and student mobility

Our very own Yasin Shiryian, Founder of Building Hope, chaired the organizing committee and highlighted the goal of the summit:
“We aim to build concrete platforms for youth-led cooperation, offering internship opportunities in Iran and introducing our country’s economic and cultural strengths to global peers.”

The event created lasting bonds among emerging leaders and set the groundwork for future editions in countries like UAE and Egypt, as planned under the BRICS Youth Council’s 2024 mandate.

This summit was a milestone for Iranian youth diplomacy—and for Building Hope’s vision of inclusive, multipolar cooperation among the leaders of tomorrow.
